We are so thrilled to highlight our August Educator of the month, Lily Roden of Lily Roden Floral Studio.
She is sweet, she is talented, she is so kind! We love that she has a heart to serve others and creates unique and personalized experiences for each and everyone of her clients. Our community is blessed to have her and the light that she brings to each and every person she meets.
Her designs are light, airy, fresh, garden-esque, whimsical, dreamy and so much more! Not only is she a business woman, a mother, a wife, she is also a teacher of the floral arts which we LOVE! We truly love education and are always capable of learning more! You can never know enough.

Lily Roden is the owner, lead florist and educator of Lily Roden Floral Studio based in Southern California in the Santa Barbara area. She and her work have been featured in publications and podcasts including Style Me Pretty, Martha Stewart Weddings, Botanical Brouhaha, California Wedding Day, Magnolia Rouge, Southern California Bride, Grey Likes Weddings, Ruffled, and Aisle Planner!
Her specialty in floral designs can best be described as “organic”. Her attention to detail is spot on through her whimsical designs mixed with a beautiful garden style!
We love that she prides herself on inclusivity and truly celebrates the uniqueness of each individual she encounters. What client wouldn’t love that? She has built an incredible home studio filled with light and bright white walls which lays the perfect foundation and background for endless creations, designs, colors, etc., She has a deep appreciation for non-profits and understands the power that floral artistry can have and the impact it can make in the world. Born in El Salvador, Lily is no stranger to philanthropy as she puts a percentage of her profits into blessing 5 children with education back in her country of birth. I mean come on, that’s amazing!
So inspiring, moving and so telling of her character! What a gal!
We love that she is a strong business woman but also takes pride in her love and commitment to her sweet family + rescue pup. People like Lily are those who have infectious positive personalities, kind hearts and bright lights that truly make the world happier and make those around them smile. We are honored to feature her this month and we are so thrilled to have her as a member of the Fleursociety Community!

Lily’s floral courses are built to provide her students with the necessary foundation and framework needed to develop oneself as a floral designer. Her courses go over the fundamentals of floral designing and arranging as she breaks down how to properly blend colors, process stems, the dynamics of both large and small scale installations and mechanics as well as talking through key information when it comes to pricing.
She really works to encourage her students to move in the direction of becoming a stronger version of themselves. We love that!
