Hey Fleursociety Community!
This week’s blog is an exciting one! As you know we pride ourselves on community. Fleursociety was created with community as one of our core values. We have worked to create this space filled with support, education, resources, love and connections from one educator and designer to the next.
Community is vital. We as humans know that we need interaction and healthy relationships to coexist. 2020 was hard. I think we can all agree on that. It brought on so many challenges, devastations, heartbreaks, hardships, etc., In a time where we all felt distant, alone and just sad, it was somewhat reassuring knowing that our community was in it together, going through it all.
As we introduce this week’s incredible featured educator, we can’t say enough about how important she is to this community. Whether it be her heart for teaching about self care, her informative floral design technique videos, her bootcamps, her skill level, the way she teaches, etc., she is just a gift to us all!

Amy Balsters, better known in the Floral Community as Amy, The Floral Coach has been a bright light and top notch educator for more than 20 years in this industry. Her passion to teach other florists the fundamentals of floral design has gotten her the recognition she rightfully deserves, as she provides education on just about every topic there is to know!
She has a reputable Youtube platform where she educates florists on topics like “How To Clean Your Floral Design Tools ”, "Packing and Delivery Ideas" and "How To Use Floral Tape The RIGHT Way!". You can tell how passionate she is in everything she does! We love her!
Amy’s work has been featured in multiple publications both nationally and internationally including Martha Stewart Weddings, ONCE WED, Florists Review, 100 Layer Cake and more!

With all that Amy does, she has worked to teach florists how to be confident, intentional and strategic with their work and the goals they set for themselves and their businesses! What a blessing and an inspiration she has been for so many of us!

In addition to the awesome teachings she shares with us in our Fleursociety Community she offers Online Courses like her Business & Design Workshops as well as her online Bouquet Bootcamp. How cool is that?! In a world where the majority of us have gone virtual, it is so nice to be able to learn from the comfort of our own homes.
She also offers in person workshops featuring private one on ones and bouquet bootcamps. Whether you are just starting out or are a seasoned professional, these courses offer something for everyone!
