Today’s blog is highlighting one of our dear friends and colleagues who has been such a wonderful addition to our Fleursociety Community and Family. We love our monthly Educator Features! This is an opportunity for us to share about our members who help us continue to foster up a community that is education and empowerment based. These members truly help make our community what it is!
For November’s Fleursociety Educator feature we are sharing all the things about Mabel Maposa of Mabel M Florals!
She comes to us from the beautiful Cape Town, South Africa where she runs her International Design Studio, Mabel M Florals! Mabel is a remarkable designer, florist and educator and we are grateful for her passion to educate others and share her wisdom. Operating out of Cape Town, South Africa, Mabel M Florals is a well established and successful International Design Studio. Mabel M Florals’s style can best be described as “timeless, lush, whimsical and full of romance.”.
The team over at Mabel M Florals specializes in bringing their client's vision to life through their innovative designs! Mabel and her team are passionate, driven and committed designers who bring quality products and services to their client base with a heavy focus on creating a unique experience for all.
Fun Fact: Mabel M Florals is a HUGE advocate for the #NoFloralFoam movement which promotes sustainable floral design and mechanics. We love this so much and we are so inspired by Mabel and her team! It’s so important to have a strong voice like Mabel at the forefront of the international #NoFoamMovement.
Practicing sustainable floristry is something I think we can grow stronger at implementing in this industry as we educate and familiarize ourselves more and more with the information that is available to us.

We are inspired by Mabel to deepen our understanding of sustainable floristry and become more educated on this international movement.
