It is all about planning! We encourage you to take the time to really strategize and plan out your content creation process. This can look like setting SMART goals and even creating an ideal client avatar so you know exactly who you are speaking to. Creating content that hits different pain points, fears, challenges, and offers solutions is an awesome way to encourage content engagement! 

2. Map It Out

We like to think of mapping it out as a big brain dump of information. We encourage you to the time to do your research and figure out what keywords, hashtags, and SEO strategies you should be using to speak to your desired audience. Brainstorm topics you want to talk about, focus on a certain number of topics, and be consistent. Don’t be afraid to recycle content and use it in different ways. Set aside times to plan, batch, and schedule out your content. 

3. Find The Right Tools

When creating content it’s important to find tools that work for you and your needs. Investing in different platforms that help with editing, blogging, social media posting, content organization, email marketing, and graphic design are game-changers! To name a few, some of our favorite tools we use are Google Docs, Asana, Canva, BlogStomp, Tailwind, and Flodesk.

We encourage you to take some time and do a deep dive into what is currently working in your content creation process and where you can make improvements. First things first, be sure to plan! Get a calendar whether it is paper or virtual and plan out that content. Once your content is planned out, go ahead and automate, batch out, and schedule your content. Set attainable and realistic goals so that you can remain consistent with your online presence. Start slow if needed and get organized before you jump into posting.
