As we approach 2022 and begin anew, we wanted to share our “year in review” with each of you. 2021 has taught us all so much and if one thing is certain, we can’t deny the power of flowers, community and education.
Every month brought with it new challenges, goals, achievements, and hardships. 2021 has been for many a time to reflect, a time to slow down and a time to be present. 2021 has also been a year of rebuilding, restrengthening and rebranding for others.
As this next year of life takes off, we hope it brings you what you need most. We are grateful for every season as it teaches us something new.

2021. OUR YEAR IN REVIEW
As 2021 comes to a close, I think it’s safe to say that we have all learned quite a bit this year. Whether you’ve learned more about yourself, those around you, your career, your relationships, we’ve all learned something new. This year really brought us all together in more ways than one.
In our fleursociety community WE HAVE…
Witnessed fellow florists come together to support and backup other florists in times of great need.
Experienced countless educators pour into our annual Summits to help them be all they can be and more.
Seen mentees both old and new come to the table eager to learn and eager to grow themselves.
Witnessed a virtual community support one another in offering advice, experience, feedback and input on pressing matters.
Hosted webinars, featured top industry educators, supported our mentees, gained new friends, increased members and more.
From every experience we are continually reminded of the importance of community, education, support and care. More and more we are forever grateful for everyone who has contributed to our community by being a part of it.
We have so much to be thankful for and we have so much to look forward to in this new year ahead of us. Our journey as learners is from far over. Let’s step into this next year with open minds, clear intentions and excited spirits!

THE POWER OF FLOWERS, COMMUNITY, & EDUCATION
As floral designers, we hold more power and value than most might assume. We aid in creating moments that honor life, love, happiness, heartache and even death. We create a safe space for clients to come seeking our talents and our expertise so that we may cater to their needs and dreams. We work countless hours standing, lifting, bending, cutting, strategizing, all so that our clients are left feeling supported and pleased. All of this time and effort however, is worth it.
This investment of time and energy can be taxing and stressful. Additionally, this industry can feel defeating at times. Seasons are met with uncertainty, fear, lack of confidence and imposter syndrome. What we can always hold onto, is this community and all of its support through every season.
It is important to set quantifiable goals and aspirations.

And though these quantifiable goals make us so proud of ourselves and our community, our qualitative goals are no less valuable.
It is a testament to our industry how valuable community and education is. We seek to always provide the “community over competition” mentality as we grow ourselves each year. Understanding more of ourselves, our capabilities and those around us is helpful in navigating forward. It is important that we find mentors, friends, supporters, all who believe in us and want greatness for us.
The amount of gratitude, patience, perseverance and growth we have experienced in 2021 is invaluable.
