MEET OUR MAY EDUCATOR
Elsa Schulze of Verde Olivo Floral & Botanical is based in Upland, CA. Elsa is a mother to her lovely daughter, a wife to her incredibly kind husband, and a businesswoman. It would be hard to find Elsa without a smile on her face as she always brings positive energy into every space she enters. She has a deep fascination for painting, interior design, and cooking. She is a lover of the finer things in life such as traveling, good music, coffee, wine, chocolate, and of course golden retrievers. How sweet!
Elsa is no stranger to hard work, organization, and professionalism. Her start in the event industry began back in 1994. Planning, coordinating events, and creating floral designs has granted her the opportunity to provide her high class services to private, corporate, and celebrity clients. Her signature style can best be described as elegant and sophisticated featuring airy and organic designs. Her specialty is weddings and large events. What is so special about her skills that has built rapport with her clientele, is her attention to detail. As much as weddings are about the big picture, those small details and intricacies truly matter to Elsa when working to piece everything together.

Understanding just how special wedding days are, Elsa is well aware of the great deal of emotions that can transpire. Though weddings are joyous and celebratory occasions they can also be incredibly stressful for clients. Elsa works to ensure that the premise of her work is to create a client experience filled with complete bliss and enjoyment. Leaving things all in her hands, Elsa is a superstar at ensuring her clients are getting the best of the best in both product and service. Creating that wow factor each and every time through meticulous planning and execution is how Elsa receives her raving client testimonials and referrals. She is known for building and establishing a great deal of trust with her clients through her personable, informative, and genuine client interactions and meetings.
Elsa is focused and driven. She goes above and beyond and continually works to exceed her client’s expectations. Oftentimes she and her team are one of the first vendors to arrive and one of the very last to leave, ensuring everything is running smoothly for her clients. She has a great deal of care that she puts into each client experience and you can tell she truly loves what she does!

Verde Olivo Floral & Botanical is run by Elsa alongside her business partner and adoring husband, Dan Schulze. Together they have worked to cultivate a successful and thriving floral business which they started back in 2018. This dynamic duo is truly a match made in heaven. While Elsa manages client relations and event design, Dan works on the back end organizing numbers, finances, administrative work, social media, and more! Dan is known for his expertise when it comes to meticulous organization and systematic planning. Elsa and Dan simply balance each other out with each of the strengths and talents they bring to the table.
Since Elsa immigrated to the states back in 2017, her biggest accomplishment is starting and growing a booming business. It’s no easy feat to start a business in a brand new country with an unfamiliar language, a lack of community and support, let alone right before the pandemic. It says so much about Elsa and Dan’s tenacity and drive that they never give up on pursuing their dreams and aspirations!
Elsa highly values the concept of “community over competition”. Elsa works to encourage all of her fellow flower-loving friends just how imperative “community over competition” truly is. She takes great pride and great reward through helping and lifting others up around her. She is a firm believer in the mantra of giving more grants you a greater return.
Elsa’s journey as a business owner allows her to learn something new each and every day. To know Elsa, truly is to love Elsa. Here at Fleursociety, Elsa is a dear friend and colleague of ours. She is genuine, compassionate, funny, intelligent, and the sweetest bundle of joy!
